“Lucky Baby Lactation Services has been and continues to be a light in my life. It has been a pillar in my breastfeeding journey and the relationship began 2 weeks before having my triplets and remains a constant today.  Breastfeeding can be an unsteady road and breastfeeding multiples especially. I breastfed my singleton until a work-related incident forced me to stop when he was 18 months old. My triplets will be 17 months next week. They are self-weaning and going at their individual pace. Every step along the way has been new and having Lucky Baby with me has made a huge difference. I exclusively breastfed a singleton and exclusively breastfed my triplets until we began solids. No supplementing, no bottle-feeding, all me, all breast, all of the time. My babies were born at 37 weeks at 5lb 3oz, 5lb 13oz and 4lb 13oz and have met every milestone along the way for height and weight. Aside from the physical support and logistical support to help give my babies what they needed, Laura has been there for the emotional and mental support as well. She builds me up when I feel ready to crumble. In a world and a place where others who have not walked your shoes may not be able to understand and steer you off course, Lucky Baby has helped to keep me strong and achieve my goals. I successfully, exclusively breastfed and continue to nurse my triplets. I thank you and so does Anthony, Vincent, Anna, my 5-year-old Patrick and husband Tim.  This is a family photo when the triplets turned 1 back in August!”

“I was very fortunate to have Laura come to my home when my daughter, Allison, was less than two weeks old. Allison was having difficulty with latching, but my heart was set on being able to nurse her. If not for Laura’s help, my daughter wouldn’t have received breast milk, from bottle or breast, for more than a couple of weeks. She was not gaining very much weight initially, and our pediatrician was not very supportive of breastfeeding. Laura taught me how to maintain my supply during this time, and how to gently encourage Allison to nurse.

She assured me that I was making the right decisions for Allison during the first few weeks of being a first-time mom, which was so helpful to hear. I felt like I had a visit from a close friend once a week during those initial weeks of motherhood that can sometimes feel very lonely. It did take some time for Allison to transfer enough milk from the breast, but at 10 months we are happily nursing, and I have even been able to donate some of my milk locally to babies in the NICU.”

“After having my second child, I expected to be able to nurse easily since I breastfeed my son. I quickly realized that I needed some help. A friend gave me Laura's information and she came the next day. She helped correct my daughter's latch and the way I held her. She helped me heal and was available for questions whenever I had them. She set my mind at ease and ensured that we were nursing correctly. She literally saved my nursing journey. I was able to stop because I was in pain and my daughter wasn't gaining enough weight but Laura reversed both of those things. I can't thank her enough and recommend her to everyone I know that has a baby. We are currently almost at a year nursing and it is all because of Laura. So grateful for her knowledge, support and guidance. Thank you so much!”

“I was referred to Lucky baby lactation by a friend after I had my daughters tie revisions. I was a mess. My daughter had screamed the entire car ride there, I was distraught that my baby would not nurse, sleep deprived and struggling with my toddler at home that wanted her mommy’s full attention back. I sat down and just felt so comfortable there I just started crying. Michelle and her intern, Veronica, were so kind to me and made me feel 10000 times better. Just talking to them I felt so relaxed. My baby nursed for the first time in a week while I was there. They honestly gave me so much hope and validation that everything was going to be ok. Michelle truly cares about her patients and does what she does because she loves it. I would highly recommend her!!”
