We offer a robust internship program that satisfies required clinical hours to become an IBCLC. From shadowing at consultations to learning how to write SOAP notes and chart, you’ll come out of the program with the confidence and professionalism needed to thrive as an IBCLC.

We accept 2 interns at a time, with 2 programs running per year: January-June and July-December. Applications accepted up until 14 days prior to program start. Our programs fill up quickly and are first-come, first-served.

We host interns at our New Jersey locations in Manasquan and Red Bank. We will also let interns shadow us at home visits throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties when families allow for that, with our SLP on complex cases, and occasionally with other providers in their offices that we collaborate with (pediatric dentists, PTs). We believe that hands on experience is critical so we do not offer exclusively virtual internships so while we prefer all your hours be completed in person we can accommodate a hybrid program. We do not offer hospital hours.
